Run down of the show:
At check in, contestants will be given a number button. This button must be worn above the waist on the side the organizer tells you. Do not switch number buttons.
All contestants will be numerically called onto stage as their bio is read and strike at least three poses (hold for counts of five).
Props are encouraged, but are not necessary. They are a fun addition (it gives you something more specific to do, especially if you are nervous). You are responsible for moving any props on and off stage.
After all contestants have been introduced, each contestant will be called numerically to come back on stage. The contestant will be asked a question while on stage. Examples of the questions will be shared prior to the event.
The judges scores will be tallied, the contestant with the most points will be crowned Lady Liberty 2022. The contestant with the second highest point total will be named Miss Stars and Stripes, and third most will be Miss Firecracker.
There will be a dressing room available prior to the show.
Check in starts at 12pm. Please check in no later than 1 hour before the start of the contest. Please be mindful of the check in time. If you are running late PLEASE send us a message. Common courtesy is all we ask so we aren’t wondering where you are.
If a contestant fails to show day of contest without any communication, they will be barred from entering any future Border Town Betties organized pin-up contests.
Gather by the stage 15 minutes prior to the start time to get lined up and to go over any last minute info.
It’s great to arrive early and mingle with car owners and spectators. Encourage them to attend the contest and cheer.
ALL contestants are asked to stay after the contest is over for group pictures. The 3 winners are also asked to stay to take photos.
